Minnesota

As the chill winds of autumn sweep across the country with just two weeks before national elections, the team heads to the Midwest to talk with people in Minnesota, Iowa and Indiana. The impact of punitive tariffs is hurting farmers in the nation’s breadbasket, but they are among the president’s staunchest supporters.  The team will highlight an urban-rural divide in which the Minneapolis-St. Paul urban area is considered a bright blue spot in a sea of red voters. After departing Minnesota, the team will capture the spirit of America’s heartland in a 1,000-mile road trip with several stops, including in a small Iowa town and the hometown of Vice President Mike Pence.
